I was SO busy that...

I didn't even get a chance to eat lunch!!!

How often does that happen to you??

I would say I cannot, no matter how hard I try, find time for lunch like 2 times a week on average (some weeks it's 3 days out of the week)... But it really stinks!!

I know if I wanted to I could take lunch but then work would just pile up and it's easier for me to just skip it and not have to deal with the load of crap on my desk for me to do!

Anyone else in the same boat??

I forgot to add that due to my overly busy day...

I'm treating myself!!!

I'm picking up Applebee's curbside to go on the way home... A chicken wrap and spinach/artichoke dip!! YAY!

Happens to me about every single day that I work. Unfortunately my job doesnt give lunch breaks (at least not to the receptionist)..so I have to eat while I work...and keep in mind I work in a very busy animal hospital where it is impossible to get even a min to eat lunch. Im so glad I am quitting soon. And I think its sooo nasty to eat while you work especially in a hospital, where there are so many germs lingering around.

If I am that busy, I will eat lunch on my desk...I HAVE to eat otherwise I get a tummy ache and I am not pleasant.

Unfortunately, I cannot eat at my desk B/c I have to answer the phone and instead of 'Good Afternoon' our clients will hear 'Gooooovvvv Abbbtannnooooonnn'

YES!! That is really gross!!! I'm so sorry!!

They should give you a break and who wants to eat while working, even if you take away the germ part, b/c think about it-- you are so busy that you can't really enjoy what you are eating and you have to woof it down!

I'm there with you... I get sooo busy at work and next thing you know it's 2 or 3 in the afternoon and too late. Just think of it this way.... we're going to be taking a Loooong honeymoon vacation this year so the harder we work till then the better it looks. LOL!!

haha! that's a good way of loking at it...

i have to say- it is partly my CHOICE to not eat lunch b/c my boss is always telling me 'go, get out of here- eat lunch!' b/c he feels bad but it's just too much of a PITA...

if i leave-- when i come back it's like BAM! all this work

so yeah it's kinda a choice but kinda not one too!

Exactly! Take tommorrow for instance. I go in at 9:30am and get out at 8pm...thats 10 1/2hrs of straight working. I have to literally swallow my food..that is so not healthy.

OMG... that's the same thing that happens to me. I could take lunch, but when I do I'm 200 emails and faxes behind. Ugh! That's why I fear taking one day off sometimes. I come back to so much work then I'm a week behind. I work in Sales and do sales marketing and support so the more they sell the more secure my job is.

Sorry sweety. If I don't eat I turn into a monster...just ask Mike. Then I get so hungry that I can't decide what I want to eat and I get even crankier. It's a bad cycle.

Dani, Im always on this same boat.
Nowaways ive gotten smart and started bringing fruit or something form homw so that i can sneak it in when i cant leave my desk to eat. im still starving most of the time thoug.. then i go home at ngiht and chow down.
