I went dress shopping...

again!

I had my two horrid days dress shopping last month and I finally recovered enough to go again. Today I drove out to Fantasia in Rocky Point (an hour trip). They carried the Jasmine that I liked and according to Bonny's website, the Bonny I liked. Well, they no longer carry Bonny and the Jasmine sample was gone.

BUT...they were so, so, so nice. I finally enjoyed dress shopping. I tried on the Maggie Sottero below. Not sure about the sleeves (they're optional) but I finally felt pretty in a dress.

Too bad it's way too expensive!

i dont know where you live but burtons in melville can order any maggie dress and they have really good prices.....i bought my dress from there and it was like $400 cheaper than other stores.......HTH

well i called and she quoted me right over the phone. i suggest just calling and asking!

I tried on that dress i think at Bayshore Bridal. It was very pretty but not me.

I would deff. shop around because i am doing that with my dress and now I am saving $300!

So, gownfind.com and Bridal Elegance (in Dix Hills) are the same thing? Or am I having a 'duh moment'?

YAY! I called gownfind and they were $212 less than Fantasia! That's an improvement!

YAY! happy the dress was cheaper!

Gownfind.com is run by Phyllis. She used to do business out of her house with Gownfind, and then LIW blew her up and brides were coming to her left and right....and last year she opened up her own store....Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills, cause she was too overwhelmed at her place.

She really is great, and if you buy your gown from her, she will usually give you a decent price on alterations & bustle. I LOVED the work she did on my gown.
