for the first time, and i accidently kicked the lady in the face. My big toe hit right into her eye. I feel terrible.
then as I was leaving the receptionist was laughing saying that that has NEVER happaned before.

Oh my goodness!! I'm so sorry you had such an embarrassing moment but that is hysterical! I have to admit that I find it hard to believe this woman has never had anyone kick when getting a Brazilian before. That was really mean of the receptionist to laugh while you were still there, obviously you felt bad about what happened.

Awww... You shouldn't be embarrased it wasn't like you kicked her on purpose, but I totally know where you're coming from, I probably wouldn't go back either!!

Did they put any cream on the area before they waxed? I read there is some sort of numbing cream.... Perhaps for the next time

I paid for my legs and biniki and underarms for about 1200. but the hair is gone forever. I go to the lady that does it in her home too that alot cheaper.
i think $100 for biniki underarms $50 i know the prices went down after going to her for a few times.

Those are GREAT prices...laser is a process tho- it won't all drop out right away- or it depends on your hair. I get my underarms done b/c I can't shave everyday- it was 400 first time, 200 next time, 100...then 50 any time after. I go to Gloria Dante on Stewart ave in Garden City- nice people there. I used to go to my friend who is a PA but she couldn't give me price breaks - 200 each time. (she works in a dermatologists office.) You have to be careful who you go to tho either way...everyone responds differently too.
You do have to get touch ups - it's semi-permament, I think. It hurts tho...I think it's worth it tho- I was getting my normal bikini line done- I'm too shy for Brazilian, got too costly tho.

i go to someone in lynbrook who charges$33 for brazilian, eybrow threading, and lip waxing. she works out of her home, so it's cheaper. FM me if you'd like her number...she's great!

I keep meaning to go to J'Adore, but I've only had it done at Bliss, which I have to say didn't really hurt as badly as I thought it would (seriously -- I went in for a semi-bikini and it wasn't so bad that the woman convinced me to do the rest!). But I think they use a special wax that only grabs the hair and not your skin. That said, I am too scared to try someplace else...
