No, but I was looking into it. How was the 'freestyle' cruising?

I thought it was ok. It does have it's plus and minuses. Like for dinner I remember waiting 20 minutes to get into the main dinining restaurants and the restaurants where you have to pay a cover charge to get into were booked all week! I suggest you make reservations early if you want to try any of them. Aqua and Venetian are the ones that don't have cover charge but there is a wait to get in. The food was good though. One night we went to Bamboo (there is a 10 dollar cover charge per person but no wait to get in...just need a reservation), if you look Japanese, then this place is great. Delicious food! Their miso soup was so good we asked for another bowl. Once you pay the cover charge you can eat as much as you want.

The thing I liked about freestyle was that you did not have to get dressed up on formal night unless you want a nice portait photo done.

This cruise is a lot of fun, especially for families. If you are looking for a cruise with not too many kids around then don't take this one...but if you don't mind then go on this cruise!

When are you going?

Might be next April or May. My credit card gives me points on NCL cruises.... wasn't sure if I would like the freestyle bit though.

I went on that ship when it first came out and loved it!!!!!!!
