FH is super pissed. He already tried calling his dad to tell him she CAN NOT wear that. I said, let her wear it and look like a fool but I think he is really embarassed and I don't blame him. We both feel like it is a slap in the face. FH said if she shows up in that tutu he is going to ask her to leave! talk about WW3 ahhhhhhhh

I cant say i blame him though he doesnt want anyone talking about how shes dressed...it is embarassing

this is ridiculous. completely unacceptable for the mother of the groom to wear. hwoever, don't concern yourself over it if she does end up wearing it. no one will be making fun of you, just her.

by the way, what does your FFIL have to say about the dress option?
