I am curious if any of you were there, too. I was at the outdoor concert in Smithtown tonight. It was a phenominal Billy Joel cover band. And this girl was called up on stage thinking that she won a raffle, but once she was up there, her boyfriend proposed. And then they played 'Just the Way You Are.' So I wonder if the bride will be on here anytime soon!!! It was a great concert and there are more scheduled for this summer!
Yes, it was Big Shot that played last night. I also used to go see a cover band and I do not remember if it was them. I think it wasn't b/c these guys are better than I remembered the other band to be. Anyway, this is part of a summer FREE concert series. Each group only plays once, but they do have other good ones coming--an Elton John cover band, Beatles, oldies, and Rod Stewart. I heard that the Rod Stewart one if GREAT. Should we have a GTG?
