And I have a effing cold sore on my lip!! I havent had one in the longest time, and then BAM!!! It totally figures, Its probably all the stres I have been having! I put Abreva on it right away, so it is staying small. But they are sooo annoying! Does anyone else get them??

well i get canker sores & they're on your gums, hurt like helll
well look at the bright side, atleast its not your wedding this weekend :)
my wedding is on saturday and my two wisdowm teeth are coming in and my right side is starting to swell

Yeah thats a plus! LOL, but iam going to a wedding! Awwh iam sorry about your wisdom teeth! Maybe the dentist can give you something! Good luck and congrats!

I get them, too Steph. I get them fairly often, also, and it *****! Abreva is the best thing for them, and my derm also gave me an Rx for Valtrex pills to take 4 of them when you feel one coming on. That's one of my worst fears - that I will have one on our wedding day!!!

Yeah can you imagine getting one for your wedding day! I would die! My friend said her doctor prescribed that too, but you have to take it right away. Abreva is great ! Same thing though put it on as soon as you feel it. Iam going to PA to to do my first fitting so i hope it will be almost gone!

It's actually funny (sort of) b/c 2 weeks ago at our dance class, when he was telling us to kiss to signify the end of the dance, FH and I couldn't b/c I had one at the time LOL! I've managed to keep him from getting them all these years but who knows if I will manage that forever!

YEAH ME! I have had them since I was about 4 yrs old....and always get them from pool water (like public pools) and the sun.
But in the last 5 yrs I have been getting it more often in the winter and spring (which is weird bec i am not in a pool nor in the sun) but my doctor said it is bec of stress.
I always take Valtrex when I feel it coming on...my lip starts tingeling and usually I don't get it as bad. But I also use the prescribed cream called Zovirax which to me is 100% better than Abreva. I think I am amune to Abreva after all these years hahaha.
But I had one on my high school grad, my undergrad graduation, my sweet 16, one of my proms and um....some other important event---so I BETTER NOT HAVE IT FOR THE WEDDING!!! I am sooo scared I will get it.
