I won a dress on TV for Kleinfeld!
Tune in to Dr. Phil today, Thursday, to see when I win the $2500 gift certificate to Kleinfeld! I go on stage with Dr. Phil and I am wearing a bright pink shirt and jeans. It may come on twice during the day so check your TV Guide. For Long Island, it airs at 3pm on CBS and 6pm on Channel 10 for Cablevision. ![]()
The part where I am at Kleinfeld will air some time next week. They will tell me which day next week. Looks like I am recording the show every day!!! In the meantime, I got a call already from Kleinfeld about making an appt to come in for my dress!![]()
What happened was, I got a promo email from Kleinfeld asking Dr. Phil a question and so I wrote back. Then the producers called in August about my being on the show. Dr. Phil came to town and the bridal segment was filmed at Kleinfeld this past Thursday. Then, he did his live show this past Monday, outside at the GM Plaza, and I wound up winning a gift certificate towards a wedding dress for $2,500!![]()
Holy Cow! I've never won that much in my life! I was shocked but real happy. What fun!
You will see me today in the front of the crowd wearing a bright pink shirt and a tiara along with the other bride to be's that got chosen for this give away. Dr. Phil was on stage along with his wife, Robin McGraw and Kleinfeld owner, Ronnie Rothstein. She pulled a name out of a box and it was the girl next to me who was also on the Kleinfeld shoot, that won. Then they surprised us all with a second give away. Robin pulled out another name and-- hoping it was me (but you know how it never is with these raffles)-- I was shocked when I heard her say my name with that southern twang. I had to jump on stage along with the first winner and suddenly the mic was in my face and I was hugging Dr. Phil. Then I was hugging the owner of Kleinfeld. Then I was hugging the first girl that won.![]()
Dr. Phil seems very sincere and he actually said he can be shy at parties. His wife Robin is very sweet too. Very pretty. Being engaged is a lot of fun. Choosing expensive dresses, beautiful reception sites, winning contests and so many opportunities to wind up on TV these days, it really is your day to shine. Now I just need to win my honeymoon!![]()
