so i got a call last night from a woman from a company called royal prestige? they sell cookware - pots, dishes, flatware, etc....they work with the viva resort at windham.
when i went to davids bridal to look at dresses, they had me fill out so much crap and i guess it paid off!!!
we won an all inclusive 2 nt/3 day trip to either bahamas, dominican, or mexico......
the only thing we would have to do is let them come to my house and do an hr presentation of there items. we are not required to buy anything, just listen to them. when they leave, whether or not we buy....we get the trip. doesnt expire and we can go when we want, BUT we have to buy the air fare.
After discussing it with my FH he didnt think it was worth it.
between the presentation, buying airfare, and go for 2 nts, (bc we prob wouldnt stay any longer) he didnt think it was worth it!!
anyone else win a trip? she said they picked 20 girls out of x amount of ppl and i was one of 20.....
its not really worth it...right??

That's awesome that you won that.. but last year around this time.. a TON of girls won that same trip!!! No one went on it though.. seemed like a scam!

I got the same call- several times. They wanted me to go to a presentation in RVC. SCAM!!! I think the company was Simplicity Bridal, I've also gotten the Royal Prestige call and the Century 21 call. They are all scams.

That's possible-- I know they called me because I filled out a 'registration' card for a few bridal expos I went to.

I checked them out with the BBB after I won and there were a lot of complaints about the company. I also talked to a couple of people who went to the presentation and than cashed in their certificate. They said that it wasn't totally free. They had to pay for part of the hotel and there were other problems.
Just be careful.

I got the same call too just last week. They said I won a prize from a bridal show I went to last year. I think it's a scam so I never called the woman back.

I got the same calls and so did my BM who is getting married. we went to the same bridal show and now they all call with this crap sorry it's a scam hun

i got this call abotu 3 years ago. never bothered to call back, it just had a scam vibe. and while its not totally a scam, it just didn't feel right.

yes it is a scam........the lady called me last year before i got married and said that they picked me from bunch of girls bla bla bla...that they took my name from the recent bridal expo......i NEVER went to one...........crap

Yeah it's a scam...
The only time I have ever won something and it was legit- was when we won things through LIW's!
Vinny and I won a trip to Barbados, a digital camera, he won a watch, a cocktail party for 15 people, etc... It was GREAT!
So, if you want-- try your luck by going to LIW events
