I won a vacation from bridal show

I just got a call from Irene (385-XXXX). She said i won some type of vacation and i can select from serveral locations (United States). ALl i have to do to claim prize is to look and give my comments about some products. She said it was the first main registration table when i got there that i had to fill out. I listen to her but didn't say yes/no etc... I read a post that there is a scam about this type of stuff..is this it? She mention the wyndamn which i was at.....

thoughts, comments, questions...?

she just kept saying wydman bridal show... (it's actaully called the greater bridal show)
i have to go to huntington (i live there and i guess she didn't read that part) to look at the products

can you explain more... i didn't sound to bad
spend 1 hour..get free air and hotel... she didn't mention any catches... what are the catches?

SCAM!! i GOT THE CALL NUMEROUS TIMES!!

The catch is you and your FH have to go sit there at there 'meeting' which sounds great w/ snacks and blah blah blah... and they try to sell you VERY EXPEN$IVE pots and pans. It's supposedly VERY HIGH PRESSURE.

I actually went. There was no pressure at all to buy. Some people actually went, got their prize and then left before the presentation. I haven't tried to redeem my trip yet. I'm sure that's when I'll figure out what the catch is...

I don't remember exactly but the trip I believe is only hotel or something weird like that. Not what it seems. DH and I actually WENT to the place to sit for an hour. There were 4 other couples (we all left excpet for one, don't know if they stayed the whole time) You go to this TINY basement ROOM that is yucky and you are to sit there while they try to sell you plates and silverware and pots and pans. It's like a time share but with objects. Like I said we didn't stay so I can't tell you too much more. I CAN tell you that they STILL call me to tell me I've won and I was married 5 months ago
