I get this message on my cell last night from a company called 21st Century Today's Bride saying that I was entered at a Bridal Showcase into their sweepstakes and that I won 3 prizes. Just to call them back and claim the prizes.
So I am wondering what they are and I call back today.
I am told that I have won the following:
1- A 2 night hotel stay in one of many cities the rep. listed for me.
2- A $500 gift certificate to this company called World of America where I can redeem my certificate for one of their many items.
3- 40% off of anything this '21st Century Today's Bride' sells...they sell household items like pots, china, etc.
All this...IF...FH and I attend their 90 minute demo and info session on Saturday or Sunday in Huntington. SCAM SCAM SCAM....
I hate LIARS....I WON NOTHING!!!!

But here is what I wrote.
She calls and tells me that I have been selected for a free trip (I knew right away what this was about) She tells me this is not a gimmick and shes not trying to sell me anything (YA RIGHT)She says in order to qualify for the free trip I won I have to take a survey. SO I NEED TO QUALIFY FOR THE TRIP I ALREADY WON.
Then she asks me do I work full time or part time?
ME: YUM NOT THAT ITS ANY OF YOUR BUSINESS BUT I WORK PART TIME.
HER: Oh and your FH works Full Time.
ME: YES HE DOES.
HER:Oh well thats a good thing.
ME: YUP.
HER: What do you do?
ME: AGAIN NOT THAT ITS ANY OF YOUR BUSINESS BUT IM IN RETAIL.
HER: Are you intrested in any kind of cookwear china or crstal
ME: NOPE GOT ALL OF THAT ALREADY.
HER: Oh well im sorry in order to qualify for your free trip for 3 nights to the dominican republic I need both of you to be working Full time.
ME: THATS OK CAUSE IM GOING TO HAWAII FOR 14 DAYS. CLICK

Mom: No this is her mother
Them: This is royal prestige we are calling to tell her she won a free trip.
Mom: Ya that she doesnt qualify for!
Them: huh?
Mom: You just called 5 minutes ago and told her she won a free trip then cause she works part time she cant have it. Dont u think u should ask her that before u tell her she won a free trip.
Them: oh ya well I guess.
