That is awesome!! That is the best destination you could of gotten for free. You are going to have a great HM. So how long is the trip? Where are staying? Did it include air fair as well?
Don't worry so much about the long plane ride. It is a place you might never visit again, so live it up.

Congratulations! That's the best prize I've ever heard...
You will really enjoy the new IC Thalasso Emerald overwater villa. My FH and I will be there in June 06 for a soft opening... and think you will be there for the Grand Opening.
I would add a few more nights to the total of 6-night free trip. You could look into other islands or motu (smaller islands) to experiece Tahiti (e.g. Moorea, Tahaa, Vahine, Huahine, etc.).
The currency is XPF and pack lots of snacks and light on clothes.
