I work with a Food Snatcher

OK..

Quick vent. I am a mild mannered, easy going person who doesn't get bent out of shape easily. But i work with a girl who has NO COUTH, CLASS or TACT. (maybe they are the same things really...but still..).

She will say things like 'wow do you know you have a big zit on your face??' or 'Hey when did you lose a stone out of your ring?' (to which my face drained of all blood and then realized all stones were completely in tact...she was wrong).

Well she is also known for grabbing at peoples food and asking if she can have some whilst in the midst of bringing it to her mouth. Where do people come from??? Seriously!!!!!

I am on my last 10 dollars and grabbed those 100 calorie snack pack things..no sooner is the box opened, that she is sticking her grubby hand in there asking 'oh can i have a bag?'. I said no. And explained i am down to basically little money..

THANK YOU FOR LISTENING!!! I just needed to vent. I know this is not a major issue, but something that urks me to no end. Does anyone else have a coworker or know someone like this????

This doesn't really have to do with food, but I used to work with someone who constantly came over to me everyday asking for change. I swear, by the end of the week, I must have given her 10 dollars in change. It drove me nuts!!!

OMG! This girl does that too!! Every day...'can i have a dime?' 'who has a quarter for me?'.

We all groan and ignore her eventually...I have never met someone like her before this...its really bad. I tried very hard to be nice...but...my patience wore off!

Yes, I've known a few of those.

Maybe it's the same person..

She finally left my company, so thank god I don't have to put up with it anymore.

After she pointed out the zit on my face, she started shaking a toner cartridge and it exploded all over her face and white dress.

I had tears pouring down my face from trying to hide how hard i was laughing...i told FH it was karma kicking her in the a**!

She got what she deserved...

We used to have someone here who used to do that with food. She also had really bad eczema on her hands and she scratched them so badly that they bled and then she would think nothing of putting her hand in your potato chip bag. Ewwww.

I personally feel that if you are not my DH, parent, sibling, or BEST friend, don't touch my food unless I offer it.

Ewwwww!! Thats really nasty! I usually will offer food when i have extra but when people just GRAB it really annoys me.

One time this girl interrupted a huge sales meeting to walk in, take a muffin from their tray and walk out. But nothing with her phases me anymore...my FH loves to hear the stories though..kind of entertaining.

I'm not a very cheerful person when I'm hungry, so if anybody comes near my food when I'm trying to eat they're going to draw back a nub!

I think the same girl used to work with me! I would leave the room and she would go in my desk and take my food out and start stuffing her face!
And if someone would bring in donuts or cookies for everyone she would eat over 1/2 the box and then bring the leftovers home

I've seen that before.. and it's never pretty.
Two things come to mind...

1.) The guy who was once so hungry that he ate a stick of butter.... eeeew!

2.) Another guy who p.o'ed so many people that they left food in the fridge that had Ex-Lax in it.. that musta been quite the suprise.

OMG-I know...I don't understand why these people aren't embarrassed by thier behavior, were they raised by WOLVES????????
Every week I buy a 1/2 gallon of skim milk for my breakfast, and every week the scummers in my office us it up-and they have the nerve to complain that they don't like skim. dirtbags!!!!!!

She's gone now. But she was a wacko. She was the epitome of eccentric. She was in her 50's and wore courduroy jumpers that went to her ankles, little anklet socks with lace and her hair pulled back with little barrettes. She was brilliant but weird.

I have a cigarette grubber at work.

Those of you who smoke know how expensive they are. I understand once in awhile, but a few times a day? Every day?

oh yea............have many of thoses at my work
