I WOULD LIKE EVERYONE'S HELP PLEASE READ-NO ONE ELSE?!??!?!

I know many of you are saving away for your wedding day. I had mine and my DH and I paid for every last cent of it ourselves, while living together, not at home, and while paying bills, cars etc, just like alot of you are.

I am asking for your help to donate as little or as much as you can to the MICHAEL CUCCIONE FOUNDATION.
The donations is for a benefit for Pediatric Cancer Research at Schneider's Children's Hospital, where many of these children, are so sick, they may never see their Wedding Day .

So ladies, please help. You can donate anywhere from $5, to as much as you can afford.
I know we are all lucky enough to be able to send at least $5. I will get them to print something saying LIWEDDINGS Ladies came through and I will post it.

I volunteered at a children's hospital in high school and I know how much these kids suffer. It's so sad

My heart goes out to the poor children who are sick. I thank God everyday that mine are healthy, safe and happy. I will send out a donation this week.

Jenn, I have to say that I really appreciate this effort. I think the multitudes of women on this board could have such a great purpose.

I have never spoken about this before, but our 4 year old cousin is a very unfortunate vicitm of pediatric cancer. She is currently undergoing her 4th round of chemo to try and combat the cancer that has plagued her for the last year and 3 months. She was diagnosed the week of our engagement party. Last week it was decided that her big sister, who was our Jr. bridesmaid, would undergo surgery to provide stem cells and try and save her life. That surgery was cancelled this week because the 3rd round of chemo did not work, and now they are giving a last ditch effort at saving her life with this 4th round of chemo. She is severely weakened, and honestly, it just doesn't look very good.

She was diagnosed with a very rare Wilms tumor. It's a childhood kidney cancer, that when caught in it's early stages has a very good chance of survival. Unfortunately, it was progressed. It is the scariest, most horrifying thing we have ever encountered in our lives, and there is just nothing on this earth that could ever explain why a child could be brought into this world, and only know suffering. She is 4 years old, and now, her only true memory is of this pain. For her parents, and her sister, it is just unthinkable.

Thank you for posting this. I think any of the girls that are even considering doing a donation for their wedding favors should consider it.

I make donations to St. Judes every year, so I strongly believe in the cause...I make the donations in honor of my father.....oh, how I wish I could donate to every cause...might lighten my heart a bit...
