Ice cream wedding cake?

Anyone have any experience with this?

Now what about this:

Cake is delivered to the outdoor tented reception by an ice cream truck. Ice cream truck is parked and serves ice cream to whomever wants.

When wedding is over bride and group hop on ice cream truck and are carried away. Ugh... maybe...

I ran this by my sister and she said 'its a wedding not a children's birthday party' ... but I think its cute, am I nuts?

My friend had a carvel wedding cake. They made it look just like a wedding cake. The only thing was that they didn't let it sit out for long enough so when they did their first cut it was quite entertaining watching them try to saw through the cake.

I think its adorable- I say go for it.
FH wants a cold stone cake as our wedding cake- I thought it would be a cool idea but wasn't sure how to pull it off. Plus- not sure how much one would cost for over 150 people??
