Its my turn to make a nice dinner tonight including dessert - (DH cleans and picks the movie)
but we are starving right now...any ideas?

potato skins
get potato's, microwave them till they are soft, then scoop out the inside leaving about 1 inch of potato, if you have a deep fryer deep fry them for about a minute, if you dont you can use oil in a frying pan and drop the potato's in that. then fill with your favorite toppings and throw in the oven for about 10 minutes
check out allrecipes.com as well. they have great appetizer stuff

ok too late for tonight......
salami and cream cheese...
cut cream cheese into strips... roll a thin slice of salami around it.. serve.. can also put olives on the place too..

-omg.. tonight i had cheese fries from outback.. soooooooo yummy cheese bacon and fries.. with ranch sauce

Yes potatoe skins are deep fried.
Usually when making them from home I like them baked but restaurants fry them.

ok i know this was for last night, but my FH makes a good appetizer.
He gets slices of ham cold cuts, spreads cream cheese on it, and then puts a tiny gherkin pickle on top of it, sprinkles dill (i think?) rolls it and sticks a toothpick in it! Its easy to make and nice for the summer.

hmmmmm.. ill have to remember the ham... i know the salami rolls go quickly... sometimes they put olives out, sometimes they put celery with cream cheese too
