Re: Idea! Need your feed back please

Val, sure we can do that!

Okay, first we need a list of categories to start us off. So, lets start a list.

Example:

Appetizers, Barbecue, Bread, Breakfast, Brunch, Condiments, Cookies, Diet, Desserts, Hors d'Oeuvres, Main Dish, Salads, Sandwiches, Sauces, Side Dish, Snacks, Soup, Vegetables

Can you think of any others?

GREAT IDEA RON/LIZ !!!

What about by categories of what types of food: ITalian, chinese, Indian.

I also think WW is pretty popular here, and girls can post WW recipes and ideas

Great job..

are you EVER going to change the url to something more LI-LIFE related ??? us 3yr-plus alumni are kind of 'tired' of saying we're still on a WEDDINGS website ! PLEASE ???????

Re: Idea! Need your feed back please

Can we also create sub-categories by main ingredient?

For example:

Low - Fat
--- Chicken
--- Beef
--- Fish
--- Vegetarian
--- Quick Meals

Ron:
Is it at all possible to create an advanced search category to combine multiple search criteria:

Example: Low-Fat, Chicken and Quick Meals?

Then you don't need a 'linear' structure, but rather a multi-level programming structure...

Re: Idea! Need your feed back please

Wow - this all sounds GREAT! I am excited

My request....once we have all the recipes categorized properly....and we can search every which way to find them -
Can we have a special print screen that will print the recipe out as a 3x5 or 4x6 recipe card???

Pretty please???

Re: Idea! Need your feed back please

My Oh My!

The next thing you'll want is a scratch and sniff to see if the recipe smells good!

We'll do our best! Some very good ideas. My programmer is gonna hate you all!

Re: Idea! Need your feed back please

I'm sorry if I'm asking 'too much.' It just makes it easier to really save a recipe and put it into my recipe box. I use this feature all the time on other recipe sites I use.

Re: Idea! Need your feed back please

Not a problem. I think it's a great idea. We'll interface it with a pdf component so you can print it as a pdf. This way they will all be uniform and look marvelous! :-)
