Hey Girls, What did you all give as a favor for your wedding? At this point we are leaning towards just doing a donation, but we wanted to try and find a cool favor. We are on a budget so $10 favors for 200 people is a bit out of range. Any inexpensive ideas that are not candy, frames/albums, coasters, bar tools or candles? My FH is one of eight kids and we are trying not to do any repeat gifts. Has anyone done any cool set-ups on the table if they made a donation or did you just have a card with an announcement? Any help would be appreciated!!!!!! Thank You in advance

im doing donations. i also ordered choc. covered pretzles from www.fretzels.com--she is printing the donation info on the tag. they are about 3.50 each. i think it will be a big hit! the pretzles here look amazing-actually they are amazing bc she sent me a free sample!!

Personalized cd with all your favorite songs? Our friends did a cd and had members of their bridal party tell them their fave song... They made a playlist and noted which BP suggested the song!

Fh & I are doing a donation to the american heart association in memory of our fathers. When you make the donation they provide you with cards to put on the tables. We also have a notation in our program ' In lieu of a favor a donation...' ANother idea is to type somethingup in a pretty font and frame it - one on each table - my cousin did this for her wedding. I just do not want to take up that much room on the tables.

we did cd favors too! Everyone loved them, they were fun and easy to make, very personalized...and from the heart...look in my album for the cover...inside we labeled the cd with our pic and wedding date...came out very classy and expensive looking but def were not expensive...if you choose this route, let me know if you need any help or advice...I miss making all of those special things!! I am doing donations with chocolate boxes, and under the bow I am printing a donation note on gold paper and rolling it up and placing it under the bow and I ordered tags from ebay. I bought the boxes from Michael's ...look for 25% off coupon in the bridal magazines
I think I'm going to do small wine bottles - always a big hit amongst guests.

Other ideas I've seen which are cute are small packets of coffee beans or hot chocolate.

if you are doing donations, you can also find a cool placecard holder to put them in, then they could at least use that to hold a picture or something and it would look pretty on the tables

We are doing a donation in memory of FH's mom. We are attaching a note to a white cookie (blk & white w/out the chocolate) which was her favorite cookie.

I'm a big fan of wine bottles
You can do one per couple, full sized bottles, and you can find bottles in bulk for like $4 per bottle if you look around.

I saw crystal ice buckets that were $5 in brooklyn at the Wedding Coach. They were a really cool favor. If you wanted you could do 1 per couple and put a little bottle of wine or chmpagne in there and some irridescent paper shreds or clear decorative glass cubes Or just wrap the box it comes in in pretty paperand put it at the place settings.

FH and I are doing coaster but because it is a little un-original we are also giving a cd with all of our songs on them... It was very inexpensive.. We bought 300 cds, cases, labels, covers and back covers for under $300.00... FM me for more infor if you are interested! FH designed the whole thing in photoshop.. We love DIY projects!
