Ideas for my favor!

Ideas for my favor!

So, I am getting married on the North Fork and I really want to give bottles of wine (getting married at the vineyard caterers)

My aunt makes the most amazing Long Island Strawberry Jam and she picks the berries herself. She made almost 200 jars of it for the wedding.

Though, it doesn't go with the 'wine' theme I thought it would be cute to put it into a bag and make a little 'breakfast bag.'

Any thoughts of what I could put in there along with the jam that would be inexpensive?

Thanks!!!!

I love the idea of the strawberry jam...can your aunt make enough for you?

if you want to make it like a breakfast bag, then you can do a bagel an cream cheese packets...another LIW bride did this and had a poem to go along with it (can't remember who it was, sorry)

Instead of bagels and cream cheese, you could also do only a muffin.

I got so teary eyed when she told me. I'm treating her to a day at the spa as a thank you...

I think the tag will say 'Tita Myrna's Strawberry Jam'

Wouldn't the bagel get hard for the next day? I would put something that you can pack at least a few days before. I don't think you want o be packing these favors the day before the wedding. JMO.

How about a little package of crackers - they are available in individual packs and already sealed up

My cousins got married in April and they gave out breakfast boxes for their favors. There was strawberry jam, small packages of coffee from DD, a heart-shaped coffee scoop, 2 coffee cups (styrofoam), a small spreader for the jam, a couple of pats of butter, and some croissants. Very cute!!

Scones!!!! Scones and jam are my favorite Also, they won't get stale as quick as bagels since they're kind of hardish already.

btw, your aunt is the bomb for making all of that.

I think your aunt is awesome! Maybe she'll go into business?

My vote goes for scones, corn muffin or crakers.
