Ideas from Modern Bride Magazine

Hi Ladies,

I still receive my subscription from Modern Bride magazine and found some cute sites...

Idea #1 a twist on the bouquet with Charm...
'a ribbon wrap is nice you can attach pics of you and your groom'

Idea #2 Jewelry ~ Bridal Party etc.
There Philosophy:
At the Chemistry Bridal jewelry atelier, we believe that small flourishes make all the difference. We believe that in planning a wedding, just like in falling in love, people reveal themselves in the details. And the details of wedding fashion are what we do best -- fabulous mix-and-match bridesmaids' jewelry that adds sparkle to the Big Day, makes perfect attendants' gifts, and delights the ladies again and again, long after the cake has been cut!

Our collection was created for the modern bridal party -- it's a treasure trove of “can’t-miss” pieces, available in sixteen carefully chosen shades designed to complement every party’s ensemble. Some brides decide to have their entire wedding party wear the same beautiful piece -- others pick different, coordinating pieces in the same color. Either way is gorgeous! Check out our Custom-Maid jewelry planner, which allows you to play a little dress-up and see which jewelry combination is best for your bridesmaids!

Finishing touches are often the most important ones -- with that in mind, every piece in our collection is made-to-order by hand in New York City, from the best quality gold- and silver-plated metals and imported glass beads. Most of our necklace and bracelet styles can also be monogrammed -- for an extra dash of personalized couture. Day or Night, Garden or Black-tie, Uptown or Downtown – great Chemistry will always be worn “happily ever after!”

So you've gotten your dress, picked your flowers and hired your photographer…Fab! Now it's time for you to relax, have fun and think about your gorgeous face!

Welcome to the place where make-up and weddings become one! Just sit back and get ready. We are here to show you everything about make-up for your wedding day…what tools you'll need, what make-up we love, and how to actually do your make-up so that you look like you, but on your best day ever! HOW PERFECT IS THAT?

If you're hiring a make-up artist, stay and play just the same…there are great tips and hints, and make-up looks that you will love. You can use these to show your hired professional EXACTLY what you want to look like (you can even print it out!).

Idea #6 Bridesmaid gift idea ~ Hear shaped pocketbook @ Target (winter 2007)

Erin Fetherston, a 25 year-old American Designer that started her own line of handmade frocks in 2004, fills her ready-to-wear collection with plenty of the flirty, ruffled, girly-girl delicate fare that global “It” girls can’t get enough of. Now, her ever-so-cute frothy, flirty, feminine fashions can be had by all! Erin is the next Go International Designer for Target! Her heart-themed collection will debut for Target in November ‘07. On a side note: I love the way that Target works with new, indie designers. That’s a great way to differentiate themselves from the high fashion fast food of H&M.
Ladies there are plenty of yummy school-girl, lolita driven stuff to supplement your wardrobe in this next Go Int’l installment (after Libertine) . I’m a bit on the older side for this collection, but I still see some very usable pieces I can incorporate into my wardrobe, such as the coats: the black wool coat with velvet hearts and the super cute creme bubble style wool coat ($89.99); the Black peter pan collar dress ($49.99), Ruffle-Front Shirt in Cream ($24.99) ; Black Dotted Swiss Tie-Front Tunic ($29.99) and the Jacquard Bow Blazer ($44.99). The heart handbags are really whimsical and cute, but I rocked one of these bags in the 80s when I was much younger, so I gotta pass on those, and leave them for the junior crowd.
