Ideas on No Cake

So I just got home, turned on Four Weddings, and there was a wedding that instead of cake had an ice cream bar and the bride/groom cut a pizza pie instead of cake and it got me thinking. Neither FH nor I eat cake, so is there an acceptable alternative? The idea of an ice cream bar would be perfect for my FH and Pizza is my second weakness ever (just behind chocolate)

What are your thoughts on a wedding without a cake? It sure would save a good amount of money. Any ideas o what else could be done?

I've seen pies done, so you're still 'cutting' something. Cupcakes are super popular now, so I don't think you'll be looked at strangely. Maybe cheesecake could be an option as well?

It's not 'traditional' I guess some would say but I think if neither of you are into it changing it up is a very cool way to make your wedding more unique and 'you'. I don't see anything bad about it, so I say go for it!

The pizza things sounds cute and crazy at the same time!

If no cake i personally would choose a dessert option to cut like make a big cookie pie, a regulare pie, or cheesecake like suggested above

But hey if you wanna do pizza I say its your wedding do what you want!!

I've seen people just get a small cake from the grocery store to cut and then had a dessert bar. They got the cake cutting picture but didn't pass cake out to guests.

That would be my ideal option, lol. I'm not a cake person either, I only like boxed cake. So, there is no excitement to do my cake. We are having an ice cream station though, so that totally makes up for having a cake for me :)
