If a beer you like isn't offered at your RH...

...will they generally either order it for you or allow you to bring it in?

I kinda want PBR at our reception.

But before I call and ask, has anyone else brought in beer? Is this a weird request?

i think most RH's will provide it... i dont think it would hurt to ask

dunno about beer but they were amenable to changing the wine included in the pkg (chardonnay - i prefer pinot grigio and reisling) ... doesn't hurt to ask though ...

My RH doesnt have Coors Light (go figure) so they gave us the option of bringing it in.

a beer that fh wanted wasn't offered by chcc, so he just asked if they can get it for the wedding and they said yes. it wasnt an extra charge or anything either.

Cool beans. It's something that actually means quite a bit to FH and I and a bunch of our friends, so it'd be cool to have it onhand.

i think they will provide it for you. especially PBRs which wont be much skin off their back.

FH asked for blue moon and rh said no problem it wasnt included originally but it is now ! We also asked about the wine and within reason they said they be able to accomodate us., They are conneceted with a vineyard so they have a good wine stash. I think you just have to ask for these things.. Good Luck !

almost every hall we met with told us that if they didn't have it, they would get it.. just need an general idea of how much to get... some said they'd get it for you, but charge you wholesale price..

awesome! i think i am jealous cause i had to stop drinking them cause i gained 10 pounds the first summer we dated cause we drank them constanlty... i think i may have to treat myself on our wedding day!
