It isnt really the terror threat, but I would have to come home, change and get on a train ALONE. I am not really a city girl. Why else would I be working for peanuts on LI?

Did you all pick a date yet?

Definitely not the last week of August, that is the convention. Penn Station will be practically closed.

Two things,

FOr those taking the train, I don't mind meeting you girls at Penn Sta at all, it's not far to Applebee's or Caliente Cab Company...lol

Second, I'll be away Aug 27 in Arizona, so please, please don't pick that date!!!

ETA: I love to play tour guide..lol

under the funny and cute story.. when FH and I first started dating, I would pick him up every friday night at penn sta in front of the Kmart...lol

We decided if we go with table names ie, places we've been.. Kmart will be one of the table names.. I'm sure the guest would be like huh??

Hey guys, have you heard of Mirage in westbury. They have an after work party on Friday's and you can reserve a section and its a free buffet and $3 drinks. It's from 5-8pm I think and you can stay if you want for the club but if you guys want to hang out in a private area after work I hear it's fun. If interested let me know and I can find out more details.
