If anyone is planning on honeymooning in the Bahamas (PICS) . .

Hi,

Just got back from Atlantis - I posted some pics on NWR if anyone is interested. I have to say it's very busy and fun - and great for a family place or group vacation. We also went to Ocean Club for dinner a couple of times, and that was MUCH more laid back and romantic/quiet, etc...
I just figured I'd post in case anyone is considering it for their honeymoon...

i know- i wanted to see that! do they still have the pool full of skates? i loved looking down on that from our room- so cool!

i went to atlantis this past december. while i loved it, i have to admit it is more of a family atmosphere rather than romantic honeymoon atmosphere. Also, it is quite pricey and you dont get much bang for your buck. this is all just my opinion. i definitely want to go back when i have kids. Also, the weather was terrible when i went so that might have influenced how much i liked the place.

Yea, I would totally go to Ocean Club over ATlantis for a honeymoon... but I'd still check out Atlantis while there... it's really unbelieveable... Also, FH and I act like children and did the slides about 40 times. The aquarium stuff is really cool too. Oh, and the Five Winds restaurant is AWESOME... great food, and a Frank Sinatra singer seranaded me (and like thirty other women LOL)

thanks! oh, yea, they have like 10 pools of sharks... I just added that pic to the ones on NWR - you just have to scroll all the way down on page one to see the added pics.
