If anyone wants a recommendation for a place to get away . . .

and I mean REALLY get away from it ALL . . . I highly recommend Key West. FH and I went this weekend as our Valentine's Day gift to each other, and honestly, I've haven't been that relaxed in years.

It is extremely laid back and maybe not for everyone, but it's really just an amazing time.

Did you fly straight to Key West or did you fly into FL and drive?

We actually drove to Key West. Unless you really can't stand road trips, I would highly recommend flying into Miami and then driving to Key West.... The drive is amazing - It's absolutely stunning. You look out the windows of your car and you see miles of ocean and you see island after island . . . It's just amazing. It is about 150 miles from Miami, so we're talking about 2 and a half hour drive or so, but it's SO worth it.
Just gorgeous.

FH and I saw a wedding on Saturday morning (Actually, we drove by it) . . .The Church was small but really nice, and we were saying how we WISH we were getting married there! Anyway, the looked gorgeous and so happy. and it was 70 degrees and sunny on February 12th - she couldnl't go wrong.

That's so exciting!
I love the idea of a destination wedding - sure it's still going to be expensive, and I know less people would be inclined to come, but FH and I will both be teaching - we want to get married over Feb. break I just love it... ooo I wish I was there right now!
