If FH is having a bachelor party how do you feel about him going...
Original post by shellnroc
to a strip joint? I was going threw the channels on t.v and I caught some of Dr. Phil. A girl doesn't want her FI going to a strip joint for his bachelor party. What is your opinion on this?

FH doesn't care for strippers or strip clubs, so he would prefer not to go there. My dad wants to go to his bachelor party, so if there are strippers I'm not too worried. There will either be strippers at my bachelorette party or my MOH's and FH knows that.

I know I know I just don;t like them putting their stuff all over my FI....I told my FI I will NOT BE HAVING ANY PART OF MALE STRIPPERS...I think its all disgusting IMO
Male strippers never appealed to me. But I knw that none would ever pose a threat to FH. I just think they are cheesy.

They are so chessy...the one and only time I was around one...my friends got one to celebrate all of our summer b-days (I had no idea or I would not have gone) it was so embarrasing and this guy was sceevy...I was wearing a little sundress and he lifted it up...I was mortified and I felt so violated...And of course he saw that I was uncomfortable and kept bothering me...I was really upset.
I mean I am not prude but I was very upset about this whole situation

I have a no problem with him going....It is actually a tradition in his family...I completely trust him & know that he would not do anything that would jeopardize our relationship.
I think the other thing that keeps my mind at ease, is that the strip clubs they are going to are in NYC. Well FH works in NYC & serves these clubs for his job. He would not do anything stuipd that would jeopardize his job either. I have been to one of the clubs he is going to & there really is no big deal!

I wouldn't be marrying him if I didn't trust him!

it would be fine with me. i don't care what he does (to a point) as long as he gets home safe. but he actually wants to go to myrtle beach and have a golf weekend or go to A.C. he's leaning more towards the golfing.

I went to Scores a while back as a friend of mine used to be a bouncer there and he invited me to go a few times. Nothing was more pathetic than watching men with women on their laps - women who would NEVER give them the time of day in any other setting. The more the women flirted, the higher the tip. I laughed at the idea that these men thought they had a chance to take one of them home. Go to the ladies room and see how many of them are working women trying to put themselves through school - not trying to score a sugar daddy. Remember ladies, these strippers are PAID entertainment.
Thank God! I totally agree. Besides, I say GO and have your fun- don't cheat- but have fun. the girls are beautiful and men are visual creatures....it's a fantasy. I am sure I am not the ONLY woman in the world that turns FH on physically- but for him, I am the ENTIRE package- that's ALL that matters to me.

FH serves Scores & that is where they had his brother's bachelor party!! They are just PAID entertainment & in Scores, you are not allowed to put your hands on the dancers...You get thrown out immediately!!! Plus as FH has said a million times, 'this is only a job to them.' Half of these girls would never get this attention from them if they were just in a bar or something

I said go for it - it's all in good fun. ANd if it's not - then there's a bigger problem.

I agree with cjb88. As long as there is no touching I dont mind him going to a stripper

i really don't care. i'm all about it.
i don't want him telling ME what to do...
I've made a couple of comments about it but i'm seriously ok with it. It won't be the last time he is at one, i'm sure.
I feel exactly the same way! FH is supposed to go to Vegas this summer for a friends and his double bachelor party, and he's afraid that if he goes, he's giving me permission to do the same. I told him if he does or doesn't go, it's not going to influence me having an awesome bachelorette party!!! I wanna party!!! And I think he'll feel that he's missed out if he doesn't......so I'm all for it! It's a right of passage
