If FH is having a bachelor party how do you feel about him going...

to a strip joint? I was going threw the channels on t.v and I caught some of Dr. Phil. A girl doesn't want her FI going to a strip joint for his bachelor party. What is your opinion on this?

I wouldnt like it... but if he does there's not much i can do about it..he wont be planning it his GM will be. I could suggest other ideas, but that doesnt really mean much..

guess i ll just have to trust him (and his friends)

I don't really have to deal with this issue because FH has NO interest in strip clubs

if he was going to go, I'd just make him promise, no touching, etc...and my BIL would be there to supervise..LOL...

At my BIL's bach party, he stayed out of the room where the stripper was..lol..he had no interest either.

Also, the GM are a gay guy, 2 of MY best friends, and my BIL....I don't think this should be a problem.

I have seen major drama on this board about this topic, but here is my take on it:

To have an opinion about not liking an FH having a bachelor party is one thing. To place restrictions on or to forbid a grown man from having a bachelor party to me demonstrates a lack of faith on the part of a bride. If you can't trust a man BEFORE you get married, how will you trust him after? JMO.

Its fine FOR THIS NIGHT ONLY! I mean I really don't like the idea at all but I know its something he wants to do and we have talked about. I am a little possesive I guess of him though I don't want some girl running her hands through his hair or touching him... I'll probalby be like I need a full report and you 'd better come home to me that night! LOL but I really trust him that's why its okay

I have expressed to my FI that I really do not like the idea of a strip club, but I trust his decision....He said going to strip clubs for a bachelor party are a thing of the past...he wants to go to Foxwoods...lol

Personally wouldn't like it too much. I think it's one thing though if the BM is planning it and a totally diff. thing if it's FH's request. To me, if you're not done with that crap...then you don't need to be with me. That's my opinion on it....right or wrong.

It wouldnt bother me at all......maybe its because he told me he has no interest( even though I think hes lying), but I still think he should go. Its male bonding. I know I want to go out and have a lot of fun for my bach party and not have restrictions put on me. Same should go for him, plus if I dont trust him enough to go to a strip club and behave himself then why would I be marrying him???

i don't want him telling ME what to do...

I've made a couple of comments about it but i'm seriously ok with it. It won't be the last time he is at one, i'm sure.

I don't care if FH goes to a strip club. I trust him and I trust his/my friends. I know they wouldn't let anything get out of control.

It would be fine with me - I know that he is totally not into that and it would just be that one time- but he already told me he definitely does not want to do that. He wants to go play video games at Jillians and drink beer. I am totally ok with that.

With his friends - I expect it. That's not to say I'm happy about it, but I know it doesn't mean anything to FI.

I went to Scores a while back as a friend of mine used to be a bouncer there and he invited me to go a few times. Nothing was more pathetic than watching men with women on their laps - women who would NEVER give them the time of day in any other setting. The more the women flirted, the higher the tip. I laughed at the idea that these men thought they had a chance to take one of them home. Go to the ladies room and see how many of them are working women trying to put themselves through school - not trying to score a sugar daddy. Remember ladies, these strippers are PAID entertainment.

I know I know I just don;t like them putting their stuff all over my FI....I told my FI I will NOT BE HAVING ANY PART OF MALE STRIPPERS...I think its all disgusting IMO

i trust the guy...besides his good friends are all married and i know it would all be innocent fun. besides i wouldn't want any restrictions on mine so how could i put restrictions on him.
