If I do my hair like this can I still have my veil...

on top of my head, not under the top part? Which would look better? I personally like the veil on top look better. More 'bride-like'. JMO

I think you could still wear your veil on top of your head with your hair like that. I prefer it that way too.

I agree and I also prefer it on top.

ETA: You might have to move the curly-bun back a teensy bit. I'm doing the same thing.

i think you could wear it either way, I do like the veil on the top also.. but either way would look great

I prefer it on top too....even on top of a bun. There are so few pics like that....anybody have any???

That is how I had my hair for my wedding and I wore the veil on top. It looked pretty and you could still see how beautiful my hair looked in the back through the veil!!

I definetely think you can wear it on top- I LOVE it on the top- don't care much for it underneath (no offense to anyone wearing it underneath- just not my style.) I LOVE that hairstyle too!

here are 2 pics I have found with the veil being worn on the top of the head and not behind the hairstyle....you predominatly see the veils placed behind the hairstyle...not too many uptop...this is the way I will be wearing my veil

I love the veil on top of the head, I wore my hair with a similar style for my wedding and I wore my veil on top

I think that look is so 50's/60's Retro
I absolutely LOVE it . . . & I will B doing something similar . . . I recently tried a nice lace veil on at a Vera Wang sample sale in NYC. I tried it both ways(cause my hair was half up) & when I placed the veil in the back & kind of underneath it looked so lame . . . It just hung there & U could barely see it from the front.
On top it looked like a completely different veil... So elegant.
Your way (like the picture) is way classier. . . Go 4 It!
No offense 2 anyone wearing it the other way.
Just my view :jump
