I would say at least 225 because there will be at least 15% would won't come

My minimum was 65 I had to up my minimum to 120 . When I send out my invites i got more than i ever expected. I had 135 guests and 10 vendors that included the children. Out of 135 guest 15 didn't show. I am so mad and they responded. So be very careful.

our Min. is 165, and were inviting about 195.. give or take 5. like the other girls said, assume 15-20% will not be able to attend.

My min is 175 inviting 230 and the hall said anywhere from 10-15 % dont come

ummm that depends on the crowd - we invited well over 200 and dont even have enough to meet our minimum of 125

We needed 150 and invited 200 and we were scrounging for people

We invited 130 but over half of them were out of town and most of them can't make it. Plus some in-towners can't come, which I hadn't been expecting. So when you do your guest list I would take the out-of town factor into consideration. We only had a 75 minimum and we're going to fall short. You may want to go way over that minimum number.

Jensun - it sounds like you wedding is during Mem Day weekend? I would invite A LOT more than your minimum because a lot of people may have other plans. I was not on a holiday weekend but a summer weekend nevertheless when people are on vacation, have other weddings, etc. We started inviting B-list people when we started getting no's - we ended up inviting 240 something and barely made our 150 minimum!

We have a 175 minimum and we invited about 240 and our final count is 198. It really depends how many OOTers you invite.

I just upgraded my room, so my minimum is now 175 people and the banquet manager suggested inviting 200, since you always get about 15-20% of people that don't show.

My min is 75 and I invited 120 and got exactly 75 coming.

Go with a B list and send them out as you get NO replies. I would think that would be the safest way to go!
