someone tell me the following again....I will HURT them
'Your too young to get married'
'Dont make the mistake I did'
'Your crazy for getting married right now'
'Your gonna get married, have babies right away and ruin your life'
WTH? This is what I get multiple times a week from EVERYONE, except family thank God. At work, forget about it. The majority of the ladies I work with have been divorced or are miserable in their marriages. Everytime they mention my marriage this is how it goes
'How old are you again' '21' (dont they remember everytime they ask me!) 'Your crazy'
What should my age matter? Im not wasting my life, Im not the party girl type so its not like I wanna go out and party all the time. AND I dont want kids for a looong time, just because Im getting married doesnt mean Im popping them out right away.
Any other young brides go through this aggravation???

Don't let them get to you.. as hard as that is i know!! You are old enough to decide weather or not you are ready to get married.. why do they care? People do that when they are unhappy with their own situation! Thankfully like you said your family is behind you and thats all that matters.. If i didn't have my friends and family right now i'd be lost.. so that's a plus!!! :)

They're not doing it in a hateful way...Ill have to be honest i give advice like that too sometimes...I tell my friend who is younger and a guy not to settle down and enjoy his life now, but everyone is different so you can't apply the same to everyone.

I hear that crap all the time and i'll be 25 when i get married... it's usually geared more towards my FH b/c he'll 'ONLY' be 24.

OMG, that's the one I hate the most!! People i've known for my entire life will come up to me and be like 'how old are you?' as if they don't already know! it's just a way for them to start with the 'you're too young' lecture....everytime I hear 'how old are you again?' I'm just like OOOOhhhh booyy...

OMG Dont worry about it! Im gonna be 27 when we get married and I still hear 'Arent you too young??' What the hell?? Back in the day 27 was an old maid lol. People just need to keep their opinions to themselves. They think theyre helping but at the end of the day people are going to do what they want to do...

I will be 36 when i get married and I dont know what is worse being young and having to hear ' you should wait' or my personal favorite 'Finally its about time' Like what do I have and expiration date on me and Im going to go bad if i wait.????

At what at age is it 'okay' to get married??? I didnt know there was an age requirement! Just blow them off. If youre happy and you know in your heart that youre doing the right thing then thats all you need!

I HAVE TO ALSO ADMIT..I am the same I tell people that all the time....only because when i was your age...(not that im sooooooo much older than you)., I was going to get married. And now that i look back at it i laugh...
BUTTTTTTTTTT everyone is different., i know plenty of couples old and gray, married from 15, 21, or whatever the case is.

I’m actually getting that from my family! They try to do it in a nice way, like “Oh, are you sure this is what you want? You’re so young still!” It gets extra annoying because they know I’ve been waiting to marry FH for years …I’ll be 24 when I get married, since when is that too young?!

It could go either way...when I was 20, 21, I was totally ready to marry FH, but I listened too much to people around me and thought I needed to “experience life” so we split up for while—by far, the biggest mistake I’ve ever made.
