If I have to hear one more time....

If I have to hear one more time....

'oh what's the hurry, you still have plenty of time before your wedding' I'm going to scream.

Guess what time flies...especially after the holidays...that doesn't mean you should sit around and not get me what I need or want right now so that I'm not scrambling the last minute!!

seriously...we don't have that much time! People who aren't planning or haven't planned a wedding have NO IDEA the amount of time it takes...

Ignore them..once New Years is over...our weddings are HERE!

Janna - only other brides understand that we don't have 'plenty of time' for anything!!

I can sympathize with you. I'm gettnig married months after you and when people say it to me, it peeves me. I live out of state and people just have no idea what planning a wedding in ny is like!

I have taken to saying -- 'yeah, seems like it i guess, but you wouldn't believe how fast things book in ny .... it's not really a lot of time from that perspective.'

I also think everyone is a procrastinator!!!!

There's nothing wrong with getting things done EARLY - less stress in the end!

I know!!! We got engaged 6 months ago and the time FLEW - our wedding is in less than 7 months, I have a feeling with my crazy schedule it's going to go any quicker...

I tried to get so much done over the summer, and everyone told me to relax, I have time - and maybe if I had no job and nothing to do I would have plenty of time, but I knew over the summer I only had until the end of august because I am:

Working full time (about 45 hours a week on a good week)
Going to school 2 nights a week
Working privately with a child 2 nights a week
Working all day on Saturdays
Working a few hours on Sundays

Plus, studying for school, preparing work for my job(s), and finding 2-3 workouts a week so I am not Jaba the Hut stomping down the aisle!!!

You know what - I don't have enough time to breathe let alone luxuriously planning a wedding!
