If I invite 150, approximately how many

should show up according to the averages? I would like around 125 at the wedding but I am afraid to under invite.

If a lot of the 150 are OOT, I would pad it a little. What minimum are you trying to meet?

My minimum is only 100 so I am not worried about anything under that. I would like around 120-125 since I think that would be a good number. About 30 of them are OTT's.

they say 15-20% are No's... so at 20% max, that would bring you down to 120

it all depends on your guests. i think 'they' say the avg is about 15% will say no. but i'm not positive on that number, im sure someone else will know though.

you also have to remember that the day of you're going to have people who will say that they'll definitely no matter what be coming, and then not show. we had about 6 people do that for our engagement party last weekend. its annoying.

This whole invite process drives me nuts. Especially since a majority of our friends are not in NY. So it would be impossible to have a B list.

it, seriously, for me was the Biggest Headache!!!!!!!! but now theyre OUT!!! (its the best feeling)... it really makes everything else look like a walk in the park lol

I have heard 15% to 30%

I am SCREWED if it is less than that.. we are hoping for 25% decline rate.

ETA- I just checked Wedding Channel- this is what I got.. 'As a general rule, about 20% to 25% of the guests invited will be unable to attend.'

The Knot says 25% will decline.
