If it rains on your wedding day, or the day before
say it stopped raining long enough for you to take pics, and theres a lot of grass, what about your dress getting totally ruined with mudd and grass stains??
i thought i heard somewhere about the photog using a big plastic bag to protect it? this seems that it wouldnt work to well??
i could deal with rain, etc. if i have to but not getting my dress in mudd!!!!
anyone know what happens with pics in this situation?

I don't think that the grass would hurt it too much, as long as you pick it up when you walk to the designated spots, but if there is mud in the area no way in He** I'll be doing that!

Hey! For my girlfriends wedding I was in (and it rained all morning) he did in fact use a sheet over the plastic bag. she would just hold her dress up, he would position it around where he had laid out the sheet, and kinda tried to get it done as soon as we could as to not get dirty or wet. she never walked and let it drag in the mud or on the wet grass...PLUS that is what your BM's are for! Make them hold your dress up! :)

i am having my dad make a cover for the bottom of my dress with a very think plastic bag. he has these heavy red bio-hazard plastic bags.

i get a rain check for my photographer... so if we cant do pics outside i can do them when we get back from hm, wierd i know but better than nothing!

It poured the day before my wedding..... But it was perfect the day of. Honestly all I did was pick my dress up.. My BMs helped me with that too while we were walking on the grass for pics.
Word of advice...... If you don't want to ruin your shoes... get or bring a pair with you while you are taking pics outside! My shoes were white and I knew I would get stains on them if I wore them in the grass. I used shoes I already had.

I pray every night for a beautiful week surrounding my day. Should this not be the case, I plan on finding a place to take pictures inside. I am also bringing flip flops and a sheet / plastic if it doesn't rain the day of, but it pours the day before. I really want to take our pic at OWG... it can be very muddy.
