I always wanted to get married at st patrick's cathedral and then maybe have the reception at the waldorf astoria or the Plaza. Or maybe even have it in Italy where FH lived. His cousin owns a catering hall/ Vineyard/hotel. Here is there site.http://www.polveredirose.it/ It's all in italian but you can see the pics of the place. it's beautiful!! and the grounds around it.

well i KNOW its not the same - BUT - my cousin got married in OLD st patrick's cathedral - its in little italy and it was the main cathedral for new york before it became too small and they built the new one. . .let me find a pic it is AMAZING!

completely unrelated but check out his cake i completely forgot - it was all cake, and they paid so much for it and everyone thought they wrapped it in ribbon!!! lol

oh yeah and check out my flower girl:

We are redoing our home, top to bottom so we do have hundreds of thousands but we just want to use it to redo our home.

well, well, well Nicole. I'm gonna call you TheFutureMrsMoneyBags!

So instead of wasting your money on the house - give some to Bon to go to Milan, some to me to get a band, some to Kerry for St Pats, etc.... Spread the loooooooooooooove man!

I want to win the lotto now.

We are not rich, but FH did buy our house in august and put 150k cash down on it. Plus we are waiting for our permits from the town, to start construction.(esitmated 300k in improvements) we are doing everything from radiant heat in the floors, to granite and stainless kitchen, cherry wood cabinets. top of the line appliances. We even designed the the 2nd floor with 2 story ceiling when you walk in and 4 bedrooms with a master bedroom with his and her closets, master bath with 3 person tub, double sinks and 7 foot long stall shower. And the architect even was able to fit a laundry room on the 2nd foor so I wont have to schlep into the basement to do laundry. We are doing a circular driveway, Inground pool with waterfall, built in stainless bbq with granite outside. deck, all pavers in the yard. All this is being paid for, no loans or anythign like that.

I duno i guess its just me, i would rather have something i will live for a long long time and can entertain in than just one spectacular night. But everyone has different priorities. I would not even have a wedding if we didnt already have the house.

even if i got married at city hall - i STILL wouldnt be able to have the house you are describing!!!

that is really exciting though - enjoy it!! i know its a LOT of hard work doing over a house ( hell we are dying just re doing our apartment! lol) so when its how you want it, that is going to be incredible!

cant wait to have a place of my own to tear down and build back up how i want it!!
Fh promised me a fireplace and heated floors in the bathroom in whatever our first house is i cant wait for that! lol
