are you ordering it and having it delivered to your house? if that's the case, i would probably order it soon because chocolate does not 'travel' well in the summer months.

I wold buy it as close to the actual date as posisble, especilly since it will be summer..with time you run the rish of it turning white or melting

I ordered mine last week and when it arrived I inspected them and placed them in tupperwares.

Chocolate actually lasts a while, as long as you store it properly. I got mine several months before my wedding and it was perfect (and still have some of it and it is fine....) I would order it now, before the summer. When you get it, keep it in a cool, dry place, but NOT the refrigerator. If you refrigerate it, the change in temperatures when you put it in and take it out may cause the chocolate to discolor (that whitish color).
