Do you cash it right away? I have 5 checks here and I dont know if I should cash them or hang on and make one big deposit at the end. I know some people like to know that their check was cashed right away.

Part 2: Who signs if it was made out to Mr and Mrs Bernard Corso? Both of us or should I just have FH sign?

Thanks ladies you are so helpful

We already cashed ours and I made sure to send out a thank you message right away as well!

Whatever is your preference, however, better to cash them. People forget checks are written, money is moved, after a certain period the bank is entitled to refuse it....

I would definetly cash them - people like to balance there accounts!! I think they expect for you to cash them. We did!

Yes. I deposited my checks and sent them a thank you also.

I kept an excel sheet where I originally had their names and addresses. I added a column for wedding gift ($) and a column for thank you, to check off if I sent them one.

Cash them !! you don't want to mess up everyone's check book !!!
Just be sure to keep a record for the Thank You

We cashed them and sent a thank you note (even though they weren't the 'photo' thank you notes). For the checks made out to Mr. and Mrs. X (his name), only DH signed them and deposited them in his account (since Mrs. X didn't really exist on any bank accounts).
