If there is one moment from your wedding....

If there is one moment from your wedding that you will never ever ever forget what is it? I'm not talking about the moment you said I do or your first dance. We can expect to remember that. Was there anything at your wedding (good) that you'll never forget besides the expected?

During our first dance, our MC's called our bridal party up to dance with us. Our Jr. GM (10) went over to one of the FG's (10) and asked her to dance. I watched him walk over to her, her run away, saw our cousins and her brothers pick her up and carry her to our Jr. GM, watched her kicked to try to get away, and then the Jr. GM walked away crying lol.
LOVE this memory and neither of them will ever live it down!

I thought of another...

Just as I was walking into the vestibule of the church with both my parents on each arm. I realized the walls in there were glass and I screamed 'No, it's glass everyone will see me!' My Dad turned to me and said 'Hunny, It's time to be seen now (so calmly)' and I just said 'Oh, okay' Then began balling like a baby for my entire trip down the aisle... lol

Sorry, I can't pick just one. I have four......and pictures to go with:

1- DH falling in the mud behind the fountain at NRC I nearly killed him:



2- My dance off with Roz



3- DH jumping on and attacking one of our friends at the end of the night. I was trying to get him to dance the last song with me, but instead he was running around doing this:



4- When I FINALLY got him to dance with me for the last dance, and even though it was the last song and we wanted everyone to dance with us, they actually ended up circling around us:

I will always remember the moment right before I walked down the aisle. I know I've told you guys this story before, but it's something I'll never forget! They just started playing the song my father and I were going to walk down the aisle to and I was starting to get nervous. I was shaking and tears were welling in my eyes. My dad pulled out a Metrocard and told me we still had time to run. We laughed and I calmed down and we walked down the aisle beaming.

I also will never ever forget the months leading up to the wedding and the support that my mom, my aunt, and my sister gave me. I will never forget how much they helped me. Our wedding wouldn't have been what it was without them!

singing to my husband !!! it was one of those surreal moments and I didnt think I would have it in me to do it.. Im soo glad I did cause he was soo surprised and happy :)



also another moment when it was me and my dad in the party bus getting ready to walk out to the church and he looked at me and said ' well this is it shell, this is the last time you will be a 'DiGirolamo' (my last name), I just bursted into tears and we cried and hugged.. It was very emotional

As much fun as the reception was i think my favorite part was the bus ride to the RH...

Yeah! I wish our photog had gotten on the bus with us. We were wild!

There are a couple
1st one is when Jerry dropped the ring during the ceremony which he also did when he asked me to marry him

2nd was my nephew/RB trying to break dance


3rd was our 1st dance which was actually our 1st dance ever

I have 2:

1. by the time it was the last song all of our guests have left and the only ppl around were us and the parents. so I grabbed DH and we danced alone on the dance floor to Macy Grey's 'So much beauty in the world'. it was so incredible being there alone on the dance floor 'closing' our wedding

2. walking into our reception to Beastie Boys' 'fight for your right to party'. we went out so crazy out and we had such a blast jumping up and down and dancing all the way to the dance floor. plus I know that we gave my mom a hell of a heart attack (bonus! LOL) as she had no idea we will do that and kept suggesting the wedding marsh

There are a couple...

1- When I got to the altar, DH and I started whispering to each other about little things and even though it felt really good to talk to him, the priest looked at us at one point like please stop talking. LOL
What's even better was DH forgot and I didn't even know that he was miked! Our videographer got everything we said!

2- When 'Shout'came on during the reception, my sister's bf went crazy b/c he loves that song. He was dancing around and then his friend put him on his shoulders and he knocked his head into a chandelier! And then a few seconds later, he fell off his friends shoulders onto the dance floor and got up right away and continued dancing! it was awesome! I love that kid, I hope he marries my sister one day.

DH's michael jackson dance is def #1 on my list. he danced the entire song with MJ moves and everything

#1 - During the ceremony, the priest said 'Lawrence and ...Jessica' (my name is Lindsay, Jessica is his cousin who was the next reader to come up ) Here she is!


#2 - Our photographer had us running and jumping in Westbury Gradens to get some cool action shots... we thought we were done until we started walking back to the limo and he asked us to do it ONE more time. Of course, that's the time when I tried to jump, my ankle twisted, and I went DOWN -- after I realized there were no grass stains and my ankle was ok, we were all good to go Here's me on the way down...


#3 - My dad and FIL performed a song for US FIL is a singer and song writer and for months leading up to the wedding, people would ask him, 'Are you going to sing at L&L's wedding?' and he would say no and brush them off. My dad plays guitar, and since we were having a band, people would joke about them performing, but since they were so adamant about not doing it, we just let it go.

All of the sudden, after the cake cutting, when I thought we were going to do the anniversary dance, they surrised us and got up there with the band and his dad sang and my dad played guitar - the whole place went NUTS! I will never ever forget that. What a special moment! Here's a pic of them playing, and us all loving it...

I love that story with your dad! hilarious..

This is what I sent to Amanda Picone the day after the wedding when I saw our teasers. It truly describes the moment I will never forget!

I am so beyond obsessed with the pic of me coming out of the limo. More so because it brings back all the emotions that I was feeling at that moment. Moments before, I was sitting in the limo alone while the wind was blowing the rain everywhere lol thinking ugh I hope they get me inside dry. Then when the limo guys opened the car door, water started pouring in from the roof. I scrinched back away from it and prob whined a little like pleaseee keep me dry. Then they tried drying it with towels and it wasn't stopping. I finally just said forget it it's okay let's just go. In the midst of me climbing out of the limo my veil fell off, I'm like it's fine we'll fix it when we get in. Then, I looked up and saw EVERYONE staring at me in anticipation lol. You, Natalie and Adam were shooting, my mom was biting her nails, my bridesmaids were looking over each other's shoulders and I just stopped looked around at the weather and laughed. I thought to myself I planned this day out to a t and the one thing I couldn't control turned into this and I just laughed, this is my wedding day and I truly couldn't be happier. That's the smile you captured and I will NEVER forget that!!



I also will not forget spitting my mint out into our second shooter's (Natalie's) hands right before I walked down the aisle. She was awesome and such a mom. It really made me laugh :).

I got major butterflies (in a good way). I just felt like everything in my life I EVER wanted was about to happen....I got VERY overwelmed waiting for the doors to open. I started crying and my nose started running.

I asked some poor girl who worked there if she had a tissue. She looked at me like I had 5 heads.

So what did I do? Wiped my nose on the tablecloth the escort cards were on.

Thats amazing!!!!! what sing did they sing?

There are three that really stick out...

1. When my 7 year old Nephew (RB) saw me for the first time...he came running into the bridal suite in his little tux and just mowed me over to give me the biggest, tighest hug. I nearly started crying..and my SIL had to leave the room cause she did start crying.

2. When DH and I saw each other for the first time... his face, his reaction... He started crying and telling me how beautiful I was... (jeez.. I'm tearing up just typing this!)

3. Just before I walked down the Aisle...my father looked at me, squeezed my hands and told me how beautiful I was (which he's NEVER said to me before) and he loved how happy I was...and then he teared up.. He was biting his cheeks to not cry... so of course I started crying.
