If there was one thing you could change about your RH....

I hardly ever start a post on the boards but I was thinking today if there was one thing you could change about your Reception Hall what would it be?

I know most of us feel that our RH is perfect but there is always that little something we wish we could change.

Well I am getting married at JerichoTerrace and I wish they had better grounds to take pictures, as soon as you pull into the entrance there I will be in my white dress taking pics for all to see!

hmm i LOVE LOVE LOVE my hall but if i HAD to choose something to change about it.....i think i would make the room a little more square so that more tables would surround the dancefloor

I hear ya! Makes me a little worried! Also, it makes taking pictures at the RH a bit complicated!

Defintely. I read a review from a bride who got married at JT, she arrived about 5 minutes late to take pics and there was already another bride taking over all the scenery so she had to go inside of JT to take pics. She never was able to take pics outside until the sun went down.

not sure if she was only 5 minutes late but that still s u c k s!

I would make it in a more convenient location! Centerport is beautiful but it's a pain in the neck for people to get to!

I would change the whole decor lol It's a little dated. But, it's still nice. It's not a complete crap hole. I would just update it a bit, and get rid of the stupid mirrors lol so 80's. :)

Other than that, I don't really care where I have my wedding as long as my family and friends are there to celebrate. So It's not a big deal.

me too. I would have made it closer to the LIE so it would have been easier to get to, especially for my nassau and queens guests. At least nobody complained to my face..

While planning I wished my RH didn't have stupid fox hunting pictures on the wall, lol. The day of it didn't really matter, the only thing I cared about was the man holding my hand, walking into the room with me :)
