I always send it either AFTER the shower date or I send it with someone who's going to the shower.
I just got a shower gift in the mail and my shower has not happened yet! Nor do I know when it is! Although I am PRETTY sure it's this coming Sunday...
I mean, this guest didn't write anything saying when it is or whatever, but still! I'm not mad, I am just amused b/c it's just confirming for me that my suspicions are correct and that it IS this Sunday. I am debating on keeping the gift thing to myself or telling FH and my MOH...

I got quite a few ahead. & some were a lot ahead of my shower so you never know!

I would probably send it before like when i got the invite and i knew i couldn't go. I just got one in the mail the other day from someone who can't make it to mine and it is at the end of July.

We had our address to mail registry gifts to as my parents house so my mom got gifts in advance, and brought them to the shower (she wrapped if they weren't). It worked out great!

I try to send it after the shower date, but for example, if u purchase online and send to the bride/groom i dont think you can control when the item is sent. So people see what they want to buy you and they order it online and ship it directly to you, so you could possibly get something weeks b/4 ur shower!

I had some gifts sent to my house and the person who sent it showed up to the shower. So I had to wrap the gift and lug it to the party...thanks alot!
