Found $24,000 in an envelope, unmarked..........would you keep it?
I saw on the news last night a 19yr old from Rockville Ctr was at work (works at a movie theater) and he was cleaning and found an envelope with $24,000 in it!!!!!!!!!1 He turned it in to his boss
What would you guys do? Personally, if I found anything....as long as it had no name or no way of me knowing who it belonged to, I would keep it.....

Any fool who takes that kinda cash w. them around too a movie...doesnt deserve it anyways!! LOL

Shame on me too, however, if it didn't have a name on it or anything attached, then yeah I would keep it too.

Eventually, it would get back to someone that the kid found that much money. Seriously, how would a 16 year old hide $24,000, anyway? If you deposit it into your back account or suddenly make a lot of cash transactions, it'll be obvious that you found money.
Technically, you legally are required to surrender anything of such value to the police. Sure, people don't do it, but you're supposed to.
I think the kid should be commended for doing the right thing... I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision. It wouldn't be for me, but I wouldn't keep that much money if I found it.
If I ever got caught, my professional license would be in jeopardy... and my conscience would be eating at me, too.

The lady tried to give him $$ for a reward and he refused!!!
