If you and your FH got each other wedding gifts...
Did you keep your gift a surprise? Or, did you pick out the gift you wanted beforehand (like if you wanted a necklace and he wanted a camcorder) and just buy it for them? Just curious...

I'm keeping mine a surprise...I'm taking much enjoyment out of it driving him crazy. Usually we both can't keep surprises from each other for long, but I've been good and haven't spilled the beans. It's driving him absolutely insane. Tee hee!

No surprises...we kept it 'small'. He bought me my day of jewelry (aquamarine and diamond bracelet and earrings that I picked...my 'something blue') and I bought him silver Tiffany cufflinks with his initals hand engraved. He had wanted them forever.

I knew what he was getting me because I wanted to make sure the size was okay. He got me diamond earrings, but my earring holes are really tiny. So, the stones were set into screwbacks, but they had to be buffed down to fit in my ears.
We picked them up 2 weeks before the wedding, but he wouldn't let me have them until the night of the rehearsal dinner.
My gifts to him were a surprise.

We kept it a surprise, it wasn't jewerly though. I can see you wanting to pick it out since you'll be wearing it with your dress so I'm sure that's a better idea.

we decided to buy each other something special while we are on our Honeymoon.
probably jewlery from one of the islands we are going to.

Hey, that's a nice idea. The necklace and camcorder were really just a fake scenario, since I already know what jewelry I'm wearing and FH likes still pics better than video!

We kept it a surprise.
I bought him a watch and he wrote and recorded a song for me that he also played at the wedding. The BM had the CD all cued up in the car as we drove away that night
