...are you doing introductions at your CH, or are you going to hang out with everyone for an hour and then be introduced (like that last hour never happened)? Am I the only person who thinks it's awkward?

We're purposely taking pictures before so we can go to our CH & chat with everyone. I didn't think it was weird until you mentioned it.....but I'm going to the whole CH & still getting introduced into the reception !!!

We're hanging out w/everyone at the cocktail hour and hopefully getting a lot of hello's out of the way and then we'll be formally introduced at the reception along w/our parents and bridal party.
That's why Fh and I I want to go to the CH. Gives us more party time at the reception, I really don't want to have to spend so much time going from table to table to chit chat. I want to dance and also want to eat some of the dinner that FH and I are so carefully choosing.

I feel its a little weird-but I plan to do it. I am going to my whole CH and then being formally introduced as Mr and Mrs into the reception. I guess the CH is less formal, so once everyone finds their seat and is in the ballroom everyone will be introduced formally.
We are doing the same thing.

We wont be going to our CH. If we are done with pictures by then we want to spend some alone time in the bridal suite. Then be introduced at the reception.

We went to our CH and it RULED! We also did introductions and it was not AT ALL awkward in any way. I say go for it. GO TO YOUR CH!!!! The CH really is the best part!
You're right!! It's the best part!! We are going to our CH too -- then get introduced after.
Your wedding day goes by so quick --we really want to enjoy it!! ALL of it!!
Plus you pay enough for it why not enjoy it

We are going to our cocktail hour about 20 minutes into it, we will do the BP thing in the suite for a few minutes, then I want at least 5 -10 minutes alone with my new hubby, then off to our great cocktail hour, we want to enjoy every minute of it......
