Oooo...good question. I don't know the answer, but I'd definitely like to hear what the other brides have to say. I may end up having the ceremony and reception at the same place.
From what I could tell from some of the weddngs I've attended, the bride & groom had a limo to whisk them away after the reception ended, but no limos for the BP to get to or leave from the banquet hall...

We're having our ceremony and reception at the same place and I thought this would be the one area where we'd be able to save some $$$. It didn't work out that way but that's more a function of the place we're getting married/taking pics than anything else.
We decided to get a limo for 3 hours (the usual minimum for most limo companies) because we and our photographer want to take pictures around Glen Island Park -- down by the water, the castle, and at Glen Island Harbour Club. It's a little too much walking to be doing in July. So, if you are taking pics all around the same place, then I wouldn't bother. I might just hire a town car to pick you and FH up at the end of the night though.

no limos here im getting married at the fh and getting ready at the hotel next door and taking pictures there as well. on place we saved on.

Nope. No Limos. IMO its a waste of money and I can get dressed in a bridal room. I dont want to scrunch up my dress in a limo.

Yes I'm getting a limo!! I'm getting dressest at my mom's and BP so the limo is picking us up there!

i'm having both the ceremony and reception a the same place and yes, we're having a limo. we are sharing a limo, since we have it for three hours. so, the guys will be picked up and dropped off, then the girls will be picked up and dropped off. The limo will stick around until after the ceremony for pics with me and my then husband (that sounds weird to say ![]()
).

We had the ceremony and reception at the same place and we had limos to take everyone there.

We're having limos to take us around Manhattan for pictures before the ceremony (we want to get most of our pics out of the way and don't want to miss any of our cocktail hour)...

It depends...if its just my FI and I taking pictures around Manhattan then we'll just get a town car. If we want to get the whole wedding party in the pics then we'll do the limo.

I am not sure yet. We are doing EVERYTHING at the hall but FH really wants limos. We planned on the expense but it will come down to whether we have a chance to book it.

I think we are just using a limo to get my bm's and me to the site from either the hotel or my mom's house. We haven't looked into it yet, though.

we're only getting one 10 person limo to pick up me, my parents, and 3 of my bridesmaids who are getting ready with me at my Mom's house.

we ordered the hummer so that my bridal party can get picked up and dropped off from my house and then the guys can get picked up together too..thought it was a nice touch

we are getting limos just for a pick up and drop off....its still cheaper than getting limos for 3 hours

Yep - wanted to arrive in style so we have one limo - it will pick up FH and BM then come to my house and get my, my MOH, my mom and puppy ![]()

we're getting one limo which will pick up the men and take them to the hall, then double back and pick me and my girls up. And then they are taking me and my FH to the hotel after everything is over.

Yea that was one of the things that was really important to my FI. He wants to arrive to the reception in style so we're getting limos.

Our wedding and ceremony are in the same place and we are getting a limo (2) for beforehand. We are taking our pictures prior to the wedding. Good luck![]()
