if you are young and getting married..respond...

m 20...my wedding is in october 2009, so by that time i will be 22. Anyway, people at my work..and by people i mean man, keep telling me that im too young to get married and that i will be cheating in 2-3 months..that makes me feel like ****..coz is so not true... i hate when people say that...i love my fiance and we are very happy!!!

FH & I will be 23 alot of people think we're young but say things to us like get out there and experience more you dont know if he's the one yet or play the field. Ignore everyone, you know what's right for you.

We must be twins lol...I got engaged at 20 and will be 22 when we get married and in the beginning I got alot of $h!t for it but dont let them get to you they are just jealous because they are old, single , divorced , or just miserable in their own marriages.....

thank you guys, i just dont like that they say that to me...but i ignor them..and you know what those people who say that stuff are people who are cheating on their wife's w the girls at my job..imagine...

im 20 too, and i just got engaged. i do get the feeling that people think im too young, but everyone in my family couldnt be happier for me, or for fh. in fact my parents and aunts were like what is taking him so long! so as long as my family supports me i could care less what friends and the other people i run into each day care. dont let it get to you, if this is what you want who cares what anyone else says?

Don't worry about it! If you and FH love each other and know that it's right that's ALL THAT MATTERS

I am 25 and will be 26 when we get married.... FH is 31 and will be 32

I am 20 also and I will also be 22 when I get married, some people have made comments, but if you know you are in love and you know that get married in 2009 is right for you and your FH than that is all that matters, just ignore those people.

all that matters is that you're happy... a lot of people think i'm too young to get married... i guess cuz they all got married at like 30+ and I'm 23, by the time i get married I'll be 25 or 26, I dont think it's that young. I feel like i'm old.. lol... oh well..

just tell them dont be jealous cuz you can't have me.. and just because you're not happy with your life, doesn't mean i am... smile and walk away...

Don't even listen to them. If you and your FH are ready for marriage then why wouldn't you get married. Everyone matures differently, and I have plenty of friends who are in their late 20s and early 30s who are definitely not mature enough for marriage, yet I also have friends who got married when they were 20 or 21 who were ready and are still happily married. Only you know whats best for you, so just tell other people to butt out!

I dont think cheating has anything to do with age... how do you explain husbands cheating during their mid life crisis if people say young husbands or wives cheat. People are stupid.

People are so annoying. Why is it any of their business what you choose to do with your life? If you are happy and feel that you are making the right decision, why should it matter to them? Ughhh, thats so annoying to me. Don't listen to them!!!!

We were engaged at 22 23 and we'll both be 24 when we tie the knot. Sometimes I feel like we're a little young (we're the first of our friends to be getting married) but nobody has TOLD US we're too young. We'll be together 6 years by then, which probably helps.

ill be 23 and FH will be 26 when we get married.
we have been living together for the last 3 years - so we dont really hear that from anyone since we are both very established - and have both been from a young age.......i do think that some girls my age are too young to be married - i think it depends on the person and where you are in your life. i've been working since im 16 - full time since 18. i've lived with FH happily for 3 years, we have a nice home, a dog, a car, we own real estate together in florida, we are paying for our wedding - we are established - we are ready - mentally and financially. i do feel like i am a little more mature than most of my peers but not all. i do know girls who are older than me that still live at home, dont have a steady job, dont have any bills and still get help from their parents so it can go either way. i can see why some people might think that we are too young to get married i think they are making a generalization and i happen to agree with it. i do think that a lot of girls and guys my age are not ready. some of us are. dont let it get to you. as long as you are ready that is all that matters - people will always have opinions that we dont want to hear.

I agree! I think that sometimes age is just a number...some people act older and are alot more stable and mature while for others it might take longer. I think that if your old enough to support each other finanically and mentally and truely love each other then age doesnt matter. Dont let people get to you, YOU are the only one who knows if your ready to be married or not. Dont second guess yourself because of other peoples opinions.
