My mom and I went to Macys in Manhasset on Saturday for her to look at MOB dresses. A block away there is a bridal salon so we went in. The man there actually MAKES the headpieces by hand. His work is amazing!!! So of course I absolutely fall in love with a piece called 'Love'. He said the swarovski crystals in this tiara are the biggest that are made. Then he told us the price... so we left. I mean dont get me wrong, it is worth every penny but not from my pocket. Just wanted to share. Here is the link...

His tiaras are gorgeous and Raquel and Thomas are so nice. I am wearing large butterfly for my wedding and I picked out all the color crystals I wanted. It is very expensive, but my mom and I feel in love and hopefully one day I will be able to pass it down to my daughter.

I know he recently had a trunk show at Kleinfeld - if you really love his tiaras, maybe you can check them out (for much less!) at an upcoming trunk show.

He offered me the trunk price or at least he said so. He said he could take 10% off plus no tax but it was still too much.

I'm hoping that mine will become a family heirloom too! I know that he does have trunk shows occasionally and not too long ago he had a sample sale where the prices were significantly cheaper -- I would call and find out if there is one coming up again?
