what's the one moment you wish you could relive? or that you wish you valued a bit more at the time?
I have been told over and over that I need to just stop and take in whats happening around me....and honestly, those are some of my favorite moments from my day. One was walking down the aisle at church....I will never forget that moment. Another was at the hall when our DJ had us get up on the speakers to dance. We had an overview of the whole crowd and the feeling that all those people were there to celebrate with us was unbelievable.
very excited to hear all of this, especially because we're using phil and sand castle is our RH too haha

Half my guest list was OOT (about 100 ppl) - I had about a 50% no rate, which is unusually high

What was the one thing that you really stressed out over that no one even noticed?
Invitations!!! I got a brides kit from Michaels and people loved them, I was worried that they wouldn't be as nice as others. But I got lots of compliments and then people threw them out So I'm glad I didn't get way more expensive ones!

I made table number frames after seeing a real glass crystal one online. I think mine came out really great and even though it took a while to do 16 frames it was definately worth it.
The DIY project that saved me the most money was making my own save the date magnets on vista print. I had ordered business cards from them before so I had an email for an extra amount of money off and got 150 save the dates for $20.
What kind of glue did you use and type of frame for your table number? It came out really pretty!

Re: If you could ask a newlywed ONE question....
I really wish I would have gotten a second photographer for when my DH was getting dressed at our house with the guys and at the church with his family before the reception.I really wish I would have changed florists when I was having MAJOR issues with them 4 weeks before my wedding!
I did NOT have a DOC and I didn't miss her. The bridal attendant at Russo's was UNBELIEVABLE!!! In some ways he was better than a DOC bc he knew the ins and outs of Russos and the surrounding area and got us exactly what we wanted/needed!
I DIY'd small things...OOT bags, bubbles, programs...nothing crazy because I am far from 'Martha Stewart' Everyone loved everything I DIY'd...esp the programs!
I didn't DIY invites, but my invites were pretty inexpensive which I was glad about bc most people just throw the invite away and keep the directional card.

I wish I could relive walking down the aisle and our first dance. Walking down that aisle...well, to me that's what being a bride really means!!

I knew a lot of them wouldn't come, but being family friends of my parents, I had to invite them.

I know this isn't a question, but I LOVE your table number frames!

I wish i looked at my dad's face as he walked me down the aisle instead of solely looking ahead at my DHs because the pictures with my dad are priceless

If you can do one thing over for the day of..what would it be?
I'd give myself more time to take pixx. Our ceremony was at 300 and our ch at 7 but the receving line was so long we were at church forever and i felt rushed while taking pix. Albeit i think we got every family shot we might have wantex I still feel like it was too rushed.
Ditto ... when I booked everything I was thinking of my guests 2:30 church and 5:30 cocktail hour which worked out great but I never thought about the fact I would need more time for pictures

Did you use a DOC and feel that they were 100% necessary or do you think that your event would have been the same without them. If you didn't use a DOC did your Maitre D and Bridal Attendants take care of everything you needed? Can't wait for your answers and your review!!!!
I had a DOC but did not feel she did all I wanted [I should have stressed more where I wanted her to be]
As for the final week of the wedding I did not make a single phone call .. they did it all for me so I didn't have to check on anything ... during family photos I was yelling like a fool trying to get people for pictures when I felt like she should be doing that but since I never stressed that I guess she didn't think to be there instead she was checking on the room

What DYI project did you take on, not completely and didn't miss.... or the one you did that saved you the most money?
my table numbers, drink menu signs and custom menus were all easy and i think appreciated by my guests and were all ridiculously cheap so they definitly saved us money
my church programs on the other hand were incredibly stressful and labor intensive and i havent heard one word of feedback on them which drives me insane because they were definitly a labor of love. so if i did it again i would of simplified them.

i wish i would of had the screens and done a photo montage during dinner. i decided to cut costs and skip it as well as the zap shots and i now wish i would of had them.

***What did you procrastinate the most with and did it cause you any problems?***
i didnt put any thought into the wedding night. i dont know what was even going through my brain when i packed my bag because i had was a toothbrush and lingere and a really random crappy tee and jeans for my inlaws brunch the next day. i didnt even have my contact case or my glasses DH had to run and get stuff from my house before we went to brunch. my advice is to not get inside yor head too much the week before i know for me it made me so forgetful becuase i was worried too much that the day would be perfect.
