Would you prefer a boy or girl for you first child?
I have always wanted a boy. But would never care what the sex was, just as long as it was a healthy baby

Boys are so cute as are litle girls. In my family, I am due for twins. OHG that would be really exciting.

I think I would be really freaked if I had twins first. I think I would need practice with one first.

For those of you who would choose twins... wait till you have 1 baby, and see if you STILL want twins.

I think I agree with Jennrenee, but you never know what can happen. My sister always makes fun of me and says that I am going to have twins and name them heckle and jeckle. I want to kill her sometimes

Re: If you could pick the sex - (just a question)
It's funny, I always wanted a boy first. Recently I was talking to my brother who just had a baby last year. They had a boy. He says he wished he had a girl first because he is the person he is today because he had two older sisters. I thought that was so sweet.

TRUE!! If I had twins, I'd welcome them joyfully, but now that I see how much work one VERY good, non fussy baby is, I can't imagine having 2 infants at once!
Mothers of twins are SAINTS.

There is a book out, that supposedly makes it so you can decide on the sex. I have no clue if it works though.

I'm not sure actually... I had always said girl girl girl, but now I'd choose a boy first then a girl and then maybe a 'surprise'. DH wants a GIRL!

I heard about this book, I think. Is it the one where you follow a certain diet if you want a boy, and another fiet if you want a girl?
My Mom's friends' daughter did that and got what she wanted, but I think it's just a coincidence. I mean, it's not like there are 10 choices and she got it right because if the diet. There are only two ways to go, so it was just a lucky coincidence (for her)
I can't see how it can work! I think it's very silly! also, potentially phyciologicaly damaging for both child and parents!

I always thought I wanted a girl first, but now that I am actually pregnant, I am craving a boy - does that make sense? I have no idea why!
