If you could plan everything all over again, what would you do...

Sensing from the boards, as we are all much closer to getting married, the stress levels are rising. So i pose...

If you could do anything differently, if you could plan it all over again, what would you do differently?

I would have gone to Barbados to get married, with a smaller BP. I would have a 3-5 day wedding extravaganza with about 20 ppl, id pay for some, and some could choose to fly down (like aunts and they would)

I would have eloped or had an island wedding with maybe our closest and dearest friends and family nothing else

Now don't take this the wrong way. I love you girls and you're so supportive and have great ideas. But this website is an obsession. I have added so many diy's and things to my wedding that I have found on here and would never have known about without you (this is both good and bad). I will have a very personal, awesome wedding, which is great. But, i never would have spent this money that I could use for other things, which is bad. Also, if I logged off and did some stuff for my wedding, I would be done by now and not stressing so bad.

But such is life. And i do love you all and I hope no one is offended by this.

Can't you tell them you don't want it now?

I was afraid to ask - it's already in our contract... Maybe I'll ask our BM at our tasting if we could take it out - it would save us like $2500. That would be AWESOME.

I don't see it being an issue. It's like an amendment to your contract. You're not breaking out of the day.

I love every aspect of what we did and are doing, but would definitely tell a family member how I really feel about how is he treating this whole marriage 'thing'.....there's still enough time thought to do it...just afraid to start a family war

I just fired 2 of my fav cousins from my BP for being ridiculous and absent..........

my biggest fear is that i will look back and not have enjoyed any of it !

I know what you mean. I am trying to enjoy the planning but sometimes it gets crazy!! I hope when the day comes I can relax & enjoy that too!!
