I speak German...but honestly..now that most of my German family is so assimilated into the country...its useless to me (although did come in handy when I worked at Lufthansa)
I want to learn Spanish...so that I can understand DH's family (I totally understand how my dad felt going into my mom's family) - I'm learning little by little, BUT...
if the option is to just magically know another language it would have to be Chinese...i feel I can learn Spanish on my own...but being that I studied (classes were in English) in China and went cross country, I wish I knew the language better...and its such a difficult language that I know I don't have the time to dedicate to it...
