what does you RH hall do? i mean i know we have to pay for the 125 no matter what but can they give you something different for the money??
Many of them do. I would ask them and see what they can do.
Yes, sometimes they upgrade the alcohol to premium labels. Or they upgrade the tablecloths... there are many options.
Most will provide extras. You need to negociate with them. You are paying and they are not makiing those meals so haggle with your gm.
Lovin' Oven doesn't provide extras. If you're under by 20 people for example, they'll split the difference with you - they let you off the hook for 10 but you still have to pay for the other 10. For those you pay for, they let you take home those extra dinners.
ours said nothing, which I thought was crap! But they said they'll count all your vendors as guests until we meet the minimum, which I didn't see as really giving us anything, but they did.

same here!
We used our vendors to make the headcount....we had 14 vendors who we fed and we had to pay full-price instead of half price.

Ummmm...I didn't want to laugh cause we were afraid to ask RH for frozen steaks and lobster!!!! Luckily we hit min!
